2022年7月13日，来自德国，法国的作家和人权活动家在英国伦敦皮卡迪利-圣詹姆斯教堂举办了悼念诺贝尔和平奖获奖者，刘晓波先生逝世五周年。
全球各国朋友通过视频网络参加了此次活动。魏京生，王丹，王军涛，胡平等著名中国海外学者和民运人士发表演讲。
中国民主党英国总部到场给予全力支持，黄华代表中国民主党英国总部发表演讲。
西藏达赖喇嘛驻英国代表索朗次仁和香港自由灯塔和香港协会代表到场参加悼念活动，发表演讲。
教堂活动之后，全体参加人员步行去中国驻英国大使馆门前举行了抗议示威活动。
刘晓波是一位和平抗争的先行者，他的毕生都献给了争取中国的新闻自由和言论自由，献给了推动中国的宪政民主运动。2017年7月13日，刘晓波因肝癌在中国监狱中去世。我们年年祭奠刘晓波，告慰在天之灵，展现中国民主力量的实力，以维护我们的自由民主人权价值观。我们将继承刘晓波先生的未竟事业，勇往直前！
“香港监察”创办人兼执行总监罗杰斯（Benedict Rogers） 因重要会议而没有及时赶到现场，活动结束之后，中国民主党总部主席王冠儒邀请罗杰斯，廖天琪，潘永忠，黄华相聚晚餐，相谈甚欢。罗杰斯先生特地向廖天琪要了一枚纪念刘晓波的胸章，别在胸前。

“Voice of Europe” friends held an event in London to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the death of Mr. Liu Xiaobo
– Full support from the UK headquarters of China Democracy Party
On 13 July 2022, writers and human rights activists from Germany and France held a tribute to the Nobel Peace Prize laureate, the fifth anniversary of the death of Mr. Liu Xiaobo, at Piccadilly-St. James Church in London, UK.
Friends from all over the world participated in the event through the video network. Wei Jingsheng, Wang Dan, Wang Juntao, Hu Ping and other famous Chinese overseas scholars and pro-democracy activists delivered speeches.
The UK Headquarters of China Democracy Party was present to give full support. Huang Hua delivered a speech on behalf of the UK Headquarters of China Democracy Party.
Solang Tsering, representative of the Tibetan Dalai Lama in the UK, and representatives of the Hong Kong Freedom Lighthouse and the Hong Kong Association attended the mourning event and delivered speeches.
After the church activity, all the participants walked to the gate of the Chinese Embassy in the UK to hold a protest demonstration.
Liu Xiaobo was a pioneer of peaceful struggle. He dedicated his life to fighting for freedom of the press and speech in China, and to promoting the movement for constitutional democracy in China. On July 13, 2017, Liu Xiaobo died of liver cancer in a Chinese prison. We pay homage to Liu Xiaobo every year to comfort the spirit of heaven and demonstrate the strength of China’s democratic forces to safeguard our values of freedom, democracy and human rights. We will inherit the unfinished business of Mr. Liu Xiaobo and move forward bravely!
Benedict Rogers, founder and executive director of “Hong Kong Monitor”, did not arrive at the site in time due to an important meeting. After the event, Chairman of China Democracy Party Headquarters Wang Guanru invited Rogers, Liao Tianqi, Pan Yongzhong, and Huang Hua to have dinner and have a great discussion. Mr. Rogers specifically asked Liao Tianqi for a badge to commemorate Liu Xiaobo, pinned to his chest.
