In today’s Western universities, this idea has long been deconstructed and criticized countless times by the Frankfurt School and Marxists. Western leftist scholars, who enjoy generous salaries and significant influence, can be found on university campuses sipping coffee and arguing to students about “why the ideals of freedom and equality are a systemic racial discrimination under the postcolonial cultural discourse hegemony.” Meanwhile, those brave and ordinary individuals outside the free world are being executed or imprisoned while pursuing the path of freedom and equality.

On the eve of the 34th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square Massacre on June 3rd this year, during a concert at the National Stadium in Beijing, a Stars and Stripes were bravely Waving by a girl. At the same time, this girl scattered copies of the U.S. Declaration of Independence to the audience and called on the audience to action for freedom and democracy. The Chinese Communist Party’s jackal quickly responded and arrested the girl. Soon, everything returned to silence, leaving behind numb crowds and hushed whispers among onlookers.

A voiceless freedom-love girl disappeared into darkness without leaving a trace of her name. What she didn’t know is the flag she waved had been labeled the ‘flag of racists’ by Marxists in the West. As opposed to the pampered Western Marxists, she was indeed a small and powerless individual, just one of the oppressed who couldn’t control her own destiny under tyranny. The commie tyrant has armies, police, and numerous propaganda machines; The girl only has the flag with Stars and Stripes. But the girl dared to defy all the forces of the communist dictator through a flag and the idea behind that flag. She dared to act like a true citizen in a country filled with minions and lackeys.

In China, Hong Kong, and other places influenced by communist tyrants, the Stars and Stripes flag is a special symbol. It represents the people’s most intense emotions of resistance against despotic rulers. But the world is indeed ironic: The Stars and Stripes can safeguard the freedom of those tyrant’s lackeys that burn and trample upon it in the land of free, while it can’t protect those freedom-love people who hold the Stars and Stripes courageous facing all the forces of tyrant under the tyranny; It can safeguard the freedom of those Marxist coward that play revolutionary simulation games in the home of brave, while it can’t protect those revolutionaries refreshed the tree of liberty with their blood.

Marxists spread their lies across the free world without scruples. Their lies led many American citizens to start to really believe that the Stars and Stripes flag represents slavery and oppression. But the truth is, from centuries ago to now, those freedom-love people have rallied under this flag, defeating kings’ armies, abolishing slavery, and overcoming socialist despots. If the Stars and Stripes flag truly symbolized slavery and oppression, what then do those who fear it and hate it represent?

In textbooks authored by the Chinese Communist Party, both the American Revolutionary War and the Civil War, which abolished slavery, are described as wars that “cleared the way for capitalism.” Chinese communists attempted to engage in complex academic sophistry to imply that wars against monarchy and the liberation of slaves were unjust. Similarly, their Western Marxist comrade tries to go through the similar way to give evidence that the United States is a racist country.

伦敦集会纪念四年前831 London Gathering Commemorates the 4th Anniversary of 831

8.31事件4周年,在伦敦市中心的Picaddilly Circus举行了集会,主题是:“勿忘831太子站警报集会及悼念会”,抗议港警滥用暴力,并悼念831事件。中国民主党英国总部等团体参与声援了港人集会。

主办方“英伦好邻舍教会”,带领参与人士为“831事件默哀一分钟”。英国人权组织Hong Kon Watch创办人Benedict Rogers 在台上发言,希望继续寻求真相,向港府及港警追究责任。2019年8月31日,一批示威者和反对示威者的乘客在地铁发生口角,多名防爆警察及港警速龙小队成员其后冲进太子地铁站,在月台和列车内以警棍、警枪及胡椒喷雾“无差别袭击”市民。随后,警方更封锁车站所有出入口,阻挡媒体记者前往采访,连急救员也无法进入车站内救助被打伤的民众。

London Gathering Commemorates the 4th Anniversary of 831

On the 4th anniversary of the August 31st Incident (831), a gathering was held in Piccadilly Circus in the heart of London under the theme “Never Forget 831 Prince Station Alarm Rally and Memorial” to protest against the excessive use of violence by the Hong Kong police and to commemorate the events of August 31st. Various groups, including the UK Headquarters of China Democracy Party, participated in the event in solidarity with the people of Hong Kong.

The event was organized by “英伦好邻舍教会” (Good Neighbors Church in the UK), and participants observed a one-minute silence in memory of the 831 incident. Benedict Rogers, the founder of the UK human rights organization Hong Kong Watch, delivered a speech, emphasizing the importance of continuing to seek the truth and holding the Hong Kong government and police accountable. On August 31, 2019, a confrontation occurred between protesters and passengers at a subway station, after which riot police and members of the Hong Kong Police’s Special Tactical Squad (STT) rushed into Prince Edward MTR station and indiscriminately attacked citizens with batons, pepper spray, and other weapons on the platform and inside the train. Subsequently, the police sealed off all entrances and exits of the station, preventing media reporters from conducting interviews and even obstructing paramedics from providing assistance to the injured.

Members of the UK Headquarters of China Democracy Party who participated in the event expressed their views, stating that Hong Kong has turned into a city dominated by the police. This is the result of the Chinese Communist Party extending its authoritarian rule from the mainland to Hong Kong, causing the former “Pearl of the Orient” to deteriorate significantly. Especially after the implementation of the Hong Kong national security law, there is no longer any freedom left in Hong Kong. Their support for the Hong Kong people’s struggle is also about fighting for their own freedom and human rights. Overseas Chinese, as they enjoy freedom, should stand up bravely to resist.

伦敦涂鸦事件:王汉铮和他的香槟马克思主义 London Graffiti Incident: Wang Hanzheng and his Champagne Marxism

“GTV全球人才签证获得者,3年机构策展人,Fake artist troublemaker捣蛋鬼,马克思主义幽灵,into-Marxists,RCA皇家艺术学院。”这是来自英国皇家艺术学院的学生王汉铮在中国社交平台“小红书”上的个人简介。

“Global Talent Visa recipient, three-year institutional art curator, fake artist troublemaker, Marxist ghost, into-Marxists, Royal College of Art (RCA).”  This is the personal profile of student Wang Hanzheng from the Royal College of Art on the Chinese social platform ‘Xiaohongshu’.

本月8月7日,一群来自英国皇家艺术学院的中国学生以实际行动,真正落实了中国国家主席习近平“讲好中国故事”的号召。在伦敦著名的Brick Lane,他们将一面反映着多元思想和艺术风格的涂鸦墙全部刷白,并将在中国街头巷尾随处可见的政治口号“社会主义核心价值观”的24个红色大字覆盖其上。在被共产主义宣传口号覆盖的涂鸦艺术中,有几件具有特殊意义的作品,其中包括向已故涂鸦艺术家马蒂致敬和纪念的作品。而这整个事件的始作俑者正是马克思主义幽灵王汉铮。

On August 7th this month, a group of Chinese students from the Royal College of Art has taken concrete actions to truly implement the call by Chinese President Xi Jinping to “tell the China story well.” In the famous Brick Lane in London, they completely whitewashed a wall of graffiti which reflects a variety of ideas and artistic styles and covered it with the 24 red characters of the ubiquitous political slogan “Socialist Core Values,” commonly seen on the streets and alleys in China. Amidst the graffiti art covered by communist propaganda slogans, there are several works with special significance, including one that pays tribute to and commemorates the late graffiti artist Marty. And the initiator of this entire event is none other than the Marxist ghost, Wang Hanzheng.

When queried about the fundamental idea driving his actions, Wang Hanzheng used a typical Frankfurt School academic jargon to answer, “His actions strive to confront the illusory nature of Western freedom by utilizing a socialist framework that challenges the narrative of colonialism.”

Beneath Wang Hanzheng’s obscure Frankfurt School academic jargon lies the arrogance towards the working class from the pampered university’s Marxist rich kid. This sense of superiority beneath such arrogance is no different from the British upstarts of centuries ago who tried to hint at their aristocratic status by showing their French proficiency. But the cringes thing is his academic bullshit’s function is not even a language like French can promote communication between people, but is essentially sophistry under the logical framework of moral relativism to block communication between people.

Wang Hanzheng gives us a glimpse into a group of people in China who were born into an upstart family and tell everyone they are the most qualified person to guide the working class should do. They say they represent the oppressed classes in society yet are even disdainful to say a simple “thank you” to the servers who served them one minute ago. They declare themselves as the vanguard of human progress but lend support to those nations that employ torture against women and homosexuals. They depict themselves as fearless revolutionaries, yet they excel at flattering those in power and bullying the weak more than anyone else. They arrogantly believe that their ideas are so profound that ordinary people cannot comprehend them, then obliterate others’ diverse and emotional works with a bucket of white paint. They are Chinese Marxists, and I have a suitable name for them, champagne Marxists. 

在中国著名的网络平台上,从来不乏这样的香槟马克思主义者。从哔哩哔哩到微博,再到QQ上各种马克思主义社区的在线聊天群,这些中国的键盘社会主义革命者似乎沉浸在他们的革命角色扮演中,享受着成为无产阶级革命“伟大领袖”的模拟游戏。中国的马克思主义者经常在几十到几百人不等的聊天群里自封总书记或导师。他们把禁言或踢除网络群组内成员的权力看作是掌握生死大权一般,似乎在那一刻他们真正变成了无所不能的共产主义“伟大领袖”。

On China’s prominent online platforms, there are many such champagne Marxists. From Bilibili to Weibo and various online chat groups of Marxist communities on QQ, these keyboard socialist revolutionaries in China seem to be immersed in their revolutionary role-play, relishing the simulation of being the “great leaders” of the proletarian revolution. Chinese Marxists often self-proclaim themselves as general secretaries or mentors within small online chat groups ranging from a few dozen to a few hundred people. They regard the power to ban or remove members from these online chat groups as a life-and-death authority, seemingly transforming into the all-powerful “great leaders” of communism in those moments. 

他们所谓的“革命行动”实际上是在中国国内社交媒体或互联网社交媒体上颂扬中国共产党的成就,同时在真正的选举自由和言论自由的国家宣扬革命。他们认为那些实质拥有真正选举和言论自由的国家是所谓的虚假自由的资本主义国家。他们认为这些国家应该像中国或朝鲜那样进行社会主义改造,成为真正的“人民民主国家”。具有讽刺意味的是,当这些中国马克思主义者在防火长城内进行键盘革命时,他们自己也受制于中国的网络审查系统。在防火长城内,任何与革命有关的言论都会被迅速压制,即使其最初的想法是对当权者的赞美。相反,在防火墙之外,这些自称为“革命者”的人热情地支持中国当局的威权统治,同时将中国所有的社会问题归咎于资本主义的微弱影响,尽管中国从未真正经历过共产党控制之外的资本主义。

Their so-called “revolutionary actions” actually are extolling the achievements of the Chinese Communist Party whether in Chinese domestic social media or abroad internet social media, while advocating for revolutions in countries where genuine freedom of elections and speech. They believe that countries where genuine freedom of election and speech substantially is so-called capitalist countries with false freedom. They think these countries should carry out socialist transformation into real people’s democracies like China or North Korea. Ironically, these Chinese Marxists themselves are subject to China’s online censorship system when engaging in keyboard revolutions within the Great Firewall. Within the Great Firewall, any discourse related to revolution is promptly silenced, even if its original idea is praise for those in power. Conversely, outside the Great Firewall, these self-proclaimed “revolutionaries” enthusiastically support the authoritarian rule of the Chinese authorities while attributing all of China’s societal issues to the feeble influence of capitalism, despite China having never truly experienced capitalism outside Communist Party control.

Hence, I would like to correct Wang Hanzheng’s explanation for his actions. His performance art in London actually is constructing a dark form of cruel humor based on unequal discourse context, employing the framework of socialism. Because the fact is, the “Marxist ghost” Wang Hanzheng resides in London where human rights and freedom of speech are fully respected, and plays academic sophistry games such as Orientalist theories to critique the so-called unequal power between privileged Western liberal values and oppressed Eastern authoritarian values. Meanwhile, in China, those people the same age as him who genuinely live under Eastern authoritarianism are taught the culture of endurance, working until near dawn, and enduring life in communal dormitories devoid of privacy, amidst an environment strewn with fruit peels and cigarette butts, all while struggling to survive. Then, Marxists like Wang Hanzheng tell everyone bullshit, “Hey guys! I support Eastern authoritarianism because Western values such as human rights and freedom are a form of cultural colonialism against Eastern authoritarian culture.”

Certainly, when discussing the topic of inequality, aspects like paid higher education do contribute an inequality in discourse. Because the payment-based higher education system allows oppressors like the champagne Marxists in China through wealth advantage to know how to masquerade as revolutionaries and openly express support for tyranny through obscure academic jargon. They can use complex academic language to convey their endorsement of oppressive regimes and claim they are advocates of progress. Meanwhile, the truly oppressed and exploited, lacking an equal footing in terms of their ability to voice their opinions because they haven’t the wealth to support higher education, silently endure the harsh realities of authoritarianism.

当我还是孩子的时候,我看过一部叫《V字仇杀队》(V for Vendetta)的电影,其中有一句让我印象深刻的话:“艺术家用谎言讲述真相,而政客用谎言掩盖真相。”这个月8月7日发生的事情给了我们这句话的另一个版本:“艺术家用谎言来讲述真相,而中国马克思主义者用谎言来掩盖艺术。”

In my childhood, I watched a movie called “V for Vendetta,” and there was a memorable line that stuck with me: “Artists used the lies to tell the truth, while politicians used them to cover the truth up.” The thing that happened on August 7th of this month gave us another version of this quote: “Artists use lies to tell the truth, while Chinese Marxists use them to cover the art up.”

高智晟失踪六周年,全球联动寻找中国良心 6th Anniversary of Gao Zhisheng’s Disappearance: Global Efforts to Find China’s Conscience

2023年8月13日是中国知名人权律师高智晟失踪6周年的日子,中国民主党英国总部在伦敦中国驻英国大使馆前举行抗议示威,响应全球声援营救高智晟的活动,要求中共政府立释放高智晟律师。

2017年8月13日这一天,仍遭受非法软禁在陕西老家的高智晟突然与外界失联,家人备受精神煎熬,其亲人更相继遭迫害悲惨离世。2020年,高智晟的姐姐被当局无休止恐惧折磨逼迫跳河自杀;2021年高智晟夫人耿和的姐夫也被迫害跳楼自杀。高智晟律师长期介入中国人权案件,为法轮功成员、地下基督徒和被强征土地的访民等弱势群体提供法律援助,并被评为中国十大优秀律师之一。2006年,高智晟被当局“以煽动颠覆国家政权罪”判处有期徒刑3年,缓刑5年,并在狱中遭受酷刑。但在2014年出狱后,高智晟仍被当局软禁,并从2017年8月起与外界失去联系,至今下落不明。 在抗议活动现场,中国民主党英国总部成员手持标语,高呼口号,要求中国政府尊重言论自由和人权,释放高智晟。党员代表谌彬在活动现场发表演说:强调高智晟律师是一个勇敢而正义的人,他为了捍卫中国人民的基本权利而付出了沉重代价,他不应该被遗忘或被消失。我们迫切的希望他能够早日重见天日与他的家人团聚。我们呼吁中国政府能够尊重基本人权和法治,立即停止对异见人士和维权律师的迫害。

6th Anniversary of Gao Zhisheng’s Disappearance: Global Efforts to Find China’s Conscience

On August 13, 2023, marked the 6th anniversary of the disappearance of Gao Zhisheng, a prominent human rights lawyer in China. The UK Headquarters of China Democracy Party organized a protest demonstration in front of the Chinese Embassy in London, joining the global call for the rescue of Gao Zhisheng and demanding the immediate release of the lawyer by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) government.

On this day in 2017, Gao Zhisheng, who was still under illegal house arrest in his hometown in Shaanxi, suddenly lost contact with the outside world. His family endured immense mental anguish, and his relatives suffered tragic persecutions and deaths. In 2020, Gao Zhisheng’s sister was driven to suicide by endless fear and pressure from the authorities. In 2021, Gao Zhisheng’s wife Geng He’s brother-in-law was also driven to suicide due to persecution.

Gao Zhisheng, a lawyer known for his involvement in human rights cases in China, provided legal aid to marginalized groups such as Falun Gong practitioners, underground Christians, and land rights activists. He was named one of China’s top ten outstanding lawyers. In 2006, Gao Zhisheng was sentenced to three years in prison on charges of “inciting subversion of state power” and placed on probation for five years, during which he suffered torture while in custody. However, after his release in 2014, Gao Zhisheng was subjected to ongoing house arrest by authorities. Since August 2017, he has disappeared from public view and his whereabouts remain unknown.

During the protest, members of the UK Headquarters of China Democracy Party held banners and chanted slogans, urging the Chinese government to respect freedom of speech and human rights and to release Gao Zhisheng. Party representative Chen Bin delivered a speech on site, emphasizing that Gao Zhisheng is a brave and righteous individual who has paid a heavy price to defend the basic rights of the Chinese people. He should not be forgotten or silenced. We urgently hope that he can be reunited with his family as soon as possible. We call on the Chinese government to respect basic human rights and the rule of law, and to immediately halt the persecution of dissenting voices and human rights lawyers.

当种族主义傲慢以爱与和平之名 When racist arrogance is in the name of love and peace

Under the stereotype of Asians as the model minority, systemic racial discrimination against Asians is often ignored by the mainstream media. No matter how much one tries to reject such rhetoric, the general perception of Asians is that they are a group of Quiet, docile, affluent middle class; they always grin and bear whether what they face. The politeness and tolerance of Asians towards others are creating opportunities for racist bullying by racists.

Ironically, the blatantly racist bullying of Asians often comes from those on the far left who claim to oppose racism and advocate for a world filled with love and peace. For those people who have both an Asian background and are also victims of Marxism, they have had to endure the Western-centric arrogance of Western Marxists even after escaping the surveillance of totalitarian tyranny.

When faced with Chinese dissidents holding different political views, some relatively moderate Marxists attempt to depict China as a capitalist nation to distance it from Marxism. On the other hand, the radical Marxists openly express support for the Chinese government’s stance in upholding authoritarian rule.

Marxists living in the free world, as opposed to dissidents from communist countries, have human rights and freedom of speech. However, Western Marxists often exhibit a condescending sense of superiority and lack of compassion when they face victims of Marxism. This phenomenon is more evident and unrestrained in the context of online platforms and forums where there exists an unequal power relationship between users and moderators.

In an online forum called Reddit, known for its left-leaning tendencies, Asian Chinese speaker users who hold anti-Communist and Chinese cultural criticism ideologies often face suppression of their freedom of speech by left-wing super-Moderators. It seems that the forum’s administrators view the Chinese Communist Party as an ally to their extreme left-wing ideology. Harsh criticism directed at the Chinese Communist Party and satirical remarks or accusations about Chinese society and culture are frequently perceived as offensive and false content by Reddit’s official management, leading to user banned and content deletion.

Many facts indicate that Reddit employs speech censorship targeting specific races and ideologies. Within Reddit’s English-speaking community, Marxists who openly endorse figures like Stalin, Mao Zedong, and Pol Pot are tolerated and even encouraged by the platform, even though these despots caused the deaths of countless civilians and committed acts of genocide same as Mr. Hitler. While these Western Marxists indulge in their commie role-playing games and false revolution games, the resistors in China, East Turkestan, Tibet, and Hong Kong, who live under communist regimes, face real dangers of arrest, disappearance, and even death.

Reddit 上的大多数极左翼超级版主都是来自自由世界的英语人士,他们无法完全理解中文用户使用的语言背后的真实含义和故事。然而,他们似乎亦对理解亚洲人民之间复杂的冲突或对亚洲发生的压迫和反抗表现出漠不关心。他们通过西方中心主义思维来看待东方世界的矛盾与冲突,认为所有讲华语的亚洲人都认为自己是中国人,并且都默认的支持中国共产党政权。因此,任何来自华语人士的反对中共政权言论或对中国文化的反思与批判都会被Reddit认定为所谓的种族主义仇恨。具有讽刺意味的是,这些超级版主经常将自己描绘成反对种族至上主义的斗士,但他们对非英语用户的态度却始终反映了他们自己对其他种族和被压迫者的种族至上主义。

Most far-left super-moderators on Reddit are English speakers from the free world and can’t fully understand the authentic meaning and stories behind the language used by Asian Chinese speaker users. However, they seem indifferent to understanding the complex conflicts among Asian people or showing concern for oppression and resistance happening in Asia. They hold stereotypical views of the Oriental world‘s contradiction and conflict through the lens of Western-centric thinking, assuming that all Chinese-speaking Asians identify themselves as Chinese and they all default support the Chinese communist regime. As a result, any speech against the Chinese communist regime or Chinese culture from Chinese speakers is tacitly regarded by Reddit’s super-moderators as so-called racist hatred. Ironically, these super-moderators often portray themselves as fighters against racial supremacism, yet their treatment of non-English users consistently reflects their own racial supremacism towards other ethnicities and the oppressed.

Under such a sense of racial superiority, far-left super-moderators on Reddit are exerting pressure on Chinese-language communities and users who hold critical Chinese cultural views. The user of these communities sympathizes with the suffering faced by women and LGBTQ+ couples who live in Confucian or Islamic cultures, and they sharp satirical commentary on oppressors. Unlike the far left in the West, these people who live under real tyranny are outraged by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and they not only translate Pro-Russian comments from ordinary Chinese people for the world in other languages proactively but also call on dissidents living in China to donate money to Ukraine. Users in these communities even likened Japan’s invasion of China in World War II to a “special military operation” to satirize the generally Pro-Russian Chinese. For those on the far left, the existence of these communities and users makes their Western civilization’s evil theory so cringe—akin to the truth of the emperor’s wearing nothing exposed by a child.

So, what is the truth? The truth is in the eyes of far-left Westerners like Reddit’s super-moderators, those freedom-loving people who live under the communist tyranny in China are just slaves to make cheap products. In the Western leftist’s mind, the young freedom-loving people in China are unworthy of living under the same sky as their pampered and spoiled far-left Western peers. But the allure of freedom is more addictive than the drugs in the Western left-wing youth sex parties. Once you have it, you would rather die than lose it. Every day, countless young dissenters living under the Chinese communist tyranny traverse the Great Firewall of China using VPNs and take the risk of arrest or even disappearance by Chinese police just for the humblest bit of freedom – to taste the freedom that people in the free world have grown weary of – the freedom to criticize the authorities. But under pressure and ridicule from Marxists and Chinese red aristocrats living in the West, even getting these pitiful freedoms also become an arduous struggle.

In the West, the Chinese abroad red aristocrats and Western far-left youths, under the guise of opposing Western hegemony, launch the most malicious attacks against Ukrainian women who have lost their sons, brothers, or fathers because of Russian so-called special military operations. The Western far left and the Chinese abroad red aristocrats never hid their support for Russia. Based on the equity principle of what far-left and Chinese abroad red aristocrats talk about so-called special military operations, some young Chinese dissenter within China’s borders angrily posts an old Japanese Empire flag to irony their pro-invasion stance. Then they face attacks from far-left hypocrites all over the Network World. The Western Marxists always say they love youth people, but the truth is they only love the spoiled Western far-left youths. They can tolerate adult students in Western universities expressing support for Marxist criminals responsible for millions of death like Pol Pot and Mao Zedong. But, they cannot abide young people living under communist tyranny or those from the third world who dare to voice their opinions infused with radical irony and profound empathy for the victims of war.

西方极左翼的所谓批判精神和勇气,从根本上讲是基于民主国家的社会宽容和社会自由之上的。他们激进地鼓吹旨在推翻民主体制本身的所谓革命。他们之所以表现出这样的勇气,是因为他们明白,在民主主义国家玩革命模拟游戏时,与在共产主义政权的压迫下生活的真正的异见者相比,他们是多么安全。他们在Youtube或Twitter上支持世界上最臭名昭著的专制政权,但生活在这些暴政下的人民甚至不能使用Youtube或Twitter。被宠坏的极左分子站在暴政受害者的鲜血上,只是为了获得一些廉价的、血腥的关注。但他们永远无法理解的是,与他们在西方的舒适的生活相反,在中国、朝鲜、越南和老挝等国家,持不同政见者所进行的每一项行动都有真正的面临着死亡、面临着消失或面临着酷刑和暴力的风险。

The so-called spirit of criticism and courage from the Western far-left fundamentally rests upon the society of tolerance and liberty within a democratic state. They radical advocate for so-called revolutions aimed at toppling the democratic framework itself. They exhibit such courage due to their comprehension of how safe they are when they play the revolutionary simulation game in a democracy, especially when contrasted with the real dissidents enduring life under the oppressive grip of communist regimes. They support the world’s most notorious tyrannical regime on Youtube or Twitter, but the people living under these tyrannies even can’t use Youtube or Twitter. The spoiled far-left stand on the blood of the victims of tyranny just to get some cheap, bloody attention. But what they could never understand is that on the opposite spectrum of their comfortable lives in the West, the countries like China, North Korea, Vietnam, and Laos, not a single action undertaken by dissidents occurs without the risk of actual death, vanishing, or brutal violence. 

为什么在共产主义暴政下的年轻人,尽管有着与西方极左世代相仿的年龄,却要活的如此的卑微?为什么养尊处优的西方极左世代从一出生就可以享受不经过血腥斗争即可享有的自由,无需穿越网络防火墙即可在YouTube和Instagram上分享他们的环球旅行和美好生活,而他们那些热爱自由的中国同龄人却仅仅为了使用VPN看一眼中国外面的世界就要面临被逮捕的风险?究竟是谁让这个世界变得如此不公平?不是资本主义者,而是马克思主义者!是因为那些生活在自由世界却主张推翻民主制度、利用言论自由为独裁者唱赞歌的马克思主义者。是因为那些煽动男女之间的仇恨,挑拨异性恋和同性恋之间的矛盾的马克思主义者。是因为那些用机关枪和毒气从农民手中夺走最后一粒米,从公民手中夺走最后一枚硬币的马克思主义者。是因为那些声称要推翻剥削阶级,却享受着特权却从来不自己动手工作的马克思主义吸血鬼!

Why do young people under communist tyranny endure such humble conditions despite being similar in age to the far-left youth in the West? Why can the pampered Western far-left youth enjoy freedom without any bloody struggle from birth, sharing their global travels and wonderful lives on YouTube and Instagram without a Great firewall, while their freedom-loving peers in China have to face the risk of arrest simply for using VPNs to take a glimpse of the world beyond China? Who exactly is responsible for making this world so unfair? Not capitalists, but Marxists! It is because of those Marxists who live in the free world but advocate overthrowing democratic systems and exploit freedom of speech to sing praises for dictators. It is because of those Marxists who fuel hatred between men and women and sow discord between heterosexuals and homosexuals. It is because of those Marxists who use machine guns and poison gas to snatch the last grain of rice from farmers and the last coin from citizens. And it is because of those privileged Marxist vampires who claim to overthrow the exploiting class but never want to work themselves!

曾经有西方极左世代在互联网上对我和那些热爱自由的年轻人说:“你们反对中国政府,因为你们是社会主义社会的失败者和穷人。你们永远是一群住在阴沟里的鼠人,你们不配过我这样的生活。”我对他说:“失败者又怎样?穷人又如何?难道生活在一个极权主义国家的失败者就意味着没有权力为自由而战?难道生活在暴政下的穷人就不应该有一颗追求自由的心吗?”为成为鼠人而感到骄傲!鼠人的生命也是命!

There was once a Western far-left generation on the internet that said to me and those young people in China who love freedom: “You oppose the Chinese government because you are losers and poor in a socialist society. You will always be a group of Ratmen living in the sewers, and you are not worthy to live like me.” I said to him, “So what if we are considered losers? What’s wrong with being poor? Does living in a totalitarian country mean the ‘losers’ even don’t have the right to fight for freedom? Do the poor people living under tyranny mean they shouldn’t have a heart that pursues freedom?” Proud to be a Ratman! Ratman lives matter!

The young people in communist countries will no longer need to endure memorizing the tedious speeches and lies of communist dictators within closed-off networks. Instead, they will have the same freedom as the Western far-left youth, being able to share their joys, sorrows, lives, and views on YouTube and Instagram without requiring VPNs.

They will live under equal personalities with the pampered Western far-left youth and speak confidently: ‘I don’t need you to teach me how to miss tyranny where I escape.”

They will learn, read, and write alongside boys in school in their green years, with no more fear of the terrorist’s AK47.

I dream that human rights and inclusivity, which moral relativists considered as Western cultural discourse hegemony, one day will get enough respect even in the most conservative regions of the Afghan mountains; I dream that the principles of equality and freedom, which the Western far-left youth saw as cliche, will flourish even in the strongholds of tyranny and the darkest corners of evil regimes; I dream that the multi-party democratic system, which the Marxists criticize as a capitalist system, will thrive upon the ruins of the Communist regime after the stormy revolutions! Even if one day, the uncool freedom principle will be spurned by the pampered far-left youth in the West; Democracy will be condemned as Western cultural discourse hegemony by the Western left-wing academic realm; The importance of human rights will be forgotten by Westerners who have lived too long in peace. But still, I won’t forget these. Because my Chinese dissident friends who disappear forever tell me I must not forget these! The North Korean defectors whose palms were pierced by North Korean border soldiers’ sharp wires along the Yalu River tell me I must not forget these! The child marriage victims in the Afghan mountains who have to endure domestic violence and sexual abuse in childhood tell me I must not forget these! The couples in Chechnya and Palestine who were getting honor killings for love tell me I must not forget these! The truly oppressed all over the world, those people who are forgotten by the international mainstream media, those voiceless yet enduring oppression and exploitation, they all tell me I must not forget these!

人权团体抗议示威,要求释放人权律师卢思位 Human Rights Groups Protest, Demanding the Release of Human Rights Lawyer Lu Siwei

2023年8月7日,中国民主党英国总部等多个人权团体到老挝驻英国大使馆抗议示威,要求老挝政府立即释放在当地被带走、面临强制遣返的中国人权律师卢思位。

卢思位7月28日在老挝前往泰国途中遭到逮捕引发国际人权组织以及关注中国人权团体的强烈反响,卢思位原本计划经老挝到泰国,前往美国与家人团聚。卢思位曾多次代理政治异见人士案件,包括2020 年代理“12港人”案件。2021年,卢思位被指网路言论“涉嫌危害国家安全”,其律师资格被撤销,其后更被袭击及禁止出境。

Human Rights Groups Protest, Demanding the Release of Human Rights Lawyer Lu Siwei

On August 7, 2023, several human rights groups, including the UK Headquarters of China Democracy Party, protested in front of the Laotian Embassy in the UK, demanding the immediate release of Chinese human rights lawyer Lu Siwei, who had been taken away and faced forced repatriation in Laos.

Lu Siwei was arrested in Laos on July 28 while en route to Thailand, which sparked strong reactions from international human rights organizations and groups concerned with Chinese human rights. Lu Siwei had originally planned to travel through Laos to reunite with his family in the United States via Thailand. He had represented cases of political dissidents, including the “12 Hong Kongers” case in 2020. In 2021, Lu Siwei was accused of making online statements “endangering national security,” leading to the revocation of his lawyer’s license. He was subsequently attacked and banned from leaving the country.

Representatives from the Laotian Embassy in the UK received a letter signed by 85 human rights organizations. Demonstrators outside the Laotian Embassy chanted slogans like “FREE LU SIWEI” to express their demands. Members of the UK Headquarters of China Democracy Party who participated in the protest stated that the Laotian government should not become an accomplice to the Chinese government. They urged the Laotian government to abide by international law, fulfill international human rights obligations, immediately halt all procedures related to repatriating lawyer Lu Siwei, and release him. Laos is a signatory to the United Nations Convention against Torture and has an obligation not to deport anyone to a country where they may be at risk of torture.

港人在伦敦7.21的集会,在市中心的Piccadilly Circus举行,纪念2019年7月21日香港元朗港铁站发生白衣人无差别的袭击抗议者和市民的事件。中国民主党英国总部部分党员参与了集会,表达对港人的支持。

4年前的7月21日,大批白衣人在香港元朗地铁站内及附近一带,持武器无差别的袭击市民。警方被质疑与黑帮勾结,该事件也成为反送中运动重要转折点。虽然已经过去四年,在英港人继续追究“警黑勾结”。因此港人在英国多地举行7.21反警黑勾结集会。在集会过程中,有来自日本的人士上台发言,强调支持香港的自由,也有4年前在元朗目击7.21事件的人士分享当晚的见闻。参与集会人士高呼抗议口号,播放了香港电台在2020年制作的相关调查报道。

大陆和香港面对的是同一个中共政权,参与集会的中国民主党英国总部的党员们表示反共人士必须携起手来,互相支持,发出共同的声音,只有结束中国共产党的一党专制统治,才会有中国大陆和香港真正的自由与法治。

Supporting Hong Kong: Commemorating the 4th Anniversary of the “7.21 Incident” Rally

On 7.21, Hong Kongers gathered in London’s Piccadilly Circus to mark the event that took place on July 21, 2019, at Yuen Long MTR station in Hong Kong. It was a day when white-clad individuals indiscriminately attacked protesters and civilians. Some members of the UK Headquarters of China Democracy Party participated in the rally to express their support for Hong Kongers.

Four years ago on July 21st, a large group of white-clad individuals launched indiscriminate attacks on civilians inside and near Yuen Long MTR station in Hong Kong, with some carrying weapons. The police were suspected of colluding with triad gangs, and the incident became a significant turning point in the anti-extradition movement. Despite the passage of four years, both in Hong Kong and the UK, people continue to seek accountability for the “police-triad collusion.” As a result, Hong Kongers held “7.21 Anti-Police-Triad Collusion” rallies in various locations in the UK. During the rally, a speaker from Japan emphasized their support for Hong Kong’s freedom, and witnesses who were present during the 7.21 incident in Yuen Long shared their accounts of that night. The participants chanted protest slogans and played investigative reports from Hong Kong radio stations produced in 2020.

Mainland China and Hong Kong both face the same Communist regime. The members of the UK Headquarters of China Democracy Party who participated in the rally stated that anti-communists must unite, support each other, and raise a collective voice. Only by ending the one-party authoritarian rule of the Chinese Communist Party can there be true freedom and the rule of law in Mainland China and Hong Kong.

2023年7月5日,是“七五事件”发生14周年,伦敦中国大使馆前聚集了维吾尔人、港人、藏人、中国民主党英国总部等多个人权团体,共同参与了一场声势浩大的抗议活动。这一天成为了维吾尔人争取人权和反对迫害的重要时刻。

“七五事件”指的是2009年7月5日在中国新疆乌鲁木齐市发生的骚乱。据报道,该事件导致数百人死亡,成千上万人被捕或失踪。维吾尔人在中国境内长期遭受着歧视、压迫和人权迫害,这次事件成为了他们诉求公正和自由的标志性事件。

Commemorating the 14th Anniversary of the “75 Incident,” Multiple Human Rights Groups, including the UK Headquarters of China Democracy Party, Participate in Protest Activities

On 5th July 2023, the 14th anniversary of the “75 Incident,” various human rights groups, including the UK Headquarters of China Democracy Party, Uighur activists, Hong Kongers, Tibetans, gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy in London to participate in a large-scale protest. This day became an important moment for Uighurs in their fight for human rights and opposition against persecution.

The “75 Incident” refers to the riots that took place in Urumqi, Xinjiang, China on 5th July 2009. It was reported that hundreds of people died, and thousands were arrested or went missing as a result of the incident. Uighurs have long faced discrimination, oppression, and human rights abuses in China, and this event has become a symbol of their struggle for justice and freedom.

Uighurs and their supporters held Uighur flags, banners, and placards, chanting slogans, demanding an end to the discrimination and persecution of Uighurs by the Chinese government and calling for an end to the policy of cultural genocide. The organizers of the event delivered speeches, condemning the actions of the Chinese government and urging the international community to pay attention to the human rights situation of Uighurs. This protest was not only a commemoration of the victims of the “75 Incident” but also a call to the international community to focus on the persecution of Uighurs by the Chinese government. Members of the UK Headquarters of China Democracy Party held slogans such as “CCP IS A LIAR,” expressing strong dissatisfaction with the widespread human rights violations under the authoritarian rule of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Participants hoped that through this protest, they could raise awareness of the deteriorating human rights crisis to people around the world.

2023年7月2日伦敦国际特赦组织英国分会举行了颁奖典礼,已举办六届的“中国人权律师奖”今年更名为“709人权律师奖”,以表彰因捍卫人权而遭中共打压的海内外人权律师,今年的获奖者是:中国人权律师余文生和周世锋,以及香港大律师、前支联会副主席邹幸彤。中国民主党英国总部党员代表出席了此次活动。

由于身处中共的迫害之下,三位获奖者都未能亲临现场领奖,由友人代为领奖。非政府组织人道中国的创办人、中国人权执行主任周锋锁宣布了709人权律师奖名单并颁奖。

该奖项由多家非盈利的国际机构举办,合办团体强调:自2015年709 大抓捕开始,已经有超过三百名律师及异见人士被中共逮捕及囚禁,刑满释放仍被不断骚扰,包括被迫搬迁、被断水断电、被吊销执照、被限制出境等,不少人更被迫流亡海外。随着中共将人权迫害扩展至香港,香港律师和人民的人权与自由也被剥夺,因此主办机构今年决定,将“中国人权律师奖”改名为“709人权律师奖”,表彰范围扩大至包括香港和其他地方受打压的律师。

“709 Human Rights Lawyers Award” in 2023

On July 2, 2023, Amnesty International UK Section held an award ceremony in London. The annual “China Human Rights Lawyers Award,” which has been held for six years, was renamed as the “709 Human Rights Lawyers Award” this year. It aims to recognize human rights lawyers, both in China and overseas, who have been suppressed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for defending human rights. The recipients of this year’s award are Chinese human rights lawyers Yu Wensheng and Zhou Shifeng, as well as Hong Kong barrister and former Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Alliance in Support of Patriotic Democratic Movements of China, Albert Ho Chun-yan. Representatives from the UK Headquarters of China Democracy Party attended the event.

Due to the persecution by the CCP, none of the three awardees were able to personally receive the award on-site. Instead, it was accepted by their friends on their behalf. Zhou Fengsuo, the founder of the non-governmental organization Humanitarian China and the executive director of China Human Rights, announced the recipients of the 709 Human Rights Lawyers Award and presented the awards.

The award is organized by several non-profit international organizations. The co-organizing groups emphasized that since the start of the “709 Crackdown” in 2015, over three hundred lawyers and dissidents have been arrested and imprisoned by the CCP. Even after serving their sentences, they continue to face harassment, including forced relocation, water and power cuts, license revocations, and travel restrictions. Many have been forced to flee overseas. As the CCP’s human rights persecution extends to Hong Kong, the rights and freedoms of Hong Kong lawyers and the people have also been deprived. Therefore, the organizing institutions decided this year to rename the award from “China Human Rights Lawyers Award” to “709 Human Rights Lawyers Award,” expanding its scope to include lawyers facing suppression in Hong Kong and other places.

As a political human rights organization, the UK Headquarters of China Democracy Party has been dedicated to establishing a society in China with genuine freedom, democracy, the rule of law, and human rights. We support and encourage the efforts and dedication of Chinese human rights lawyers and admire their courage in defending human rights without fear of the CCP’s suppression. The UK Headquarters of China Democracy Party will continue to collaborate with relevant international organizations and focus on the human rights situation in Chinese society, promoting social progress and the democratization process in China.

二、上半年各党部的工作小结

英国总部在王冠儒主席的领导下,黄华顾问的大力协助下,从成立两年来,截至今年上半年,做了大量的工作。召开了三次有多国的海外民运人士参加的关于中国大陆“民主进程的理论研讨会”,同在英国的各宗教人士、中国留学生、香港的流亡人士,藏、疆、蒙的流亡人士,英国国会议员朋友,台湾的反共人士,在中国驻英国大使馆门前,抗议中国政府打压政治异议人士的活动。目前,联总英国总部已经成为在欧洲海外民运一支具有很大影响力的组织。

在丹麦哥本哈根居住的兰炜总部副主席,一直以来同丹麦的国会议员交往甚密,同他交朋友的还有丹麦曾任欧盟的主席。兰炜副主席经常向他们灌输我们中国民主党,对于中国民主运动的主张,揭露中共一党专制统治中国的罪恶。对丹麦政府和欧盟产生有一定的影响,做了我党很重要的工作。在今年纪念六四34周年的活动中,组织哥本哈根的中共留学生召开了座谈会,并邀请了丹麦的国会议员的参加。

美西党部,在党部副主席、青年委员会执行长界立健的带领下,同洛杉矶的各界海外民运认识,法轮功及其他宗教界的朋友,在今年上半年组织了多次抗议中共迫害中国政治异议人士的活动。台湾蔡英文总统,路过美西的时候,还接见了他。以界立健为榜样的青年一代海外民运人士,已经长起来。我们联总美西党部,也已经成为美西海外民运组织的一直主要力量,各个媒体关注的中心。

美东党部,在唐元隽主席的领导下,队伍不断长大。经过了三年的疫情困难时期,今年通过走线进入纽约的中国大陆来的新移民,纷纷加入各民运组织,美东党部也增添了不少新人。在唐元隽主席的带领下,积极参加各种活动,在法拉盛图书馆门前,同宗教团体举办痛诉中共在国内各个时期迫害民众的史实,并用自己的亲身体会,向过往的民众讲述他们的经历,唤醒了更多的美国民众对中共专制政权的认识。今年纪念刘四34周年,在六月二日带领党员参加了在迈哈顿的“六四纪念”馆的开幕仪式和游行活动,六月四日,在法拉盛参加了有几百人的大游行。

新澳党部在覃夕权主席的带领下,组织了抗议游行和点蜡烛的纪念活动。泰国党部,有总部副秘书长、前东南亚的党部部主席黎小龙,同现东南亚党部主席聂保国,共同组织了多次今年几年六四34周年的活动,并为营救逃离中国大陆的政治异议人士,做出了重大贡献。荷兰党部在叶国忠主席的带领下,同在荷兰的其他民运组织,举办了纪念六四34周年的活动。

三、2024年的台湾观选报名工作,现在正式启动,有愿意参加者可向总部汪岷主席和总部秘书长韩武报名。

  1. Personnel changes in the headquarters leadership team. After Vice Chairman Xiong Yan resigned from his position, the Vice Chairman position has been vacant. Prior to the headquarters meeting this month, Chairman Wang Min submitted two proposals to the headquarters committee:

Proposal 1:

Considering Vice Chairman Xiong Yan’s resignation, the members of the Presidium currently form an even number. I propose that Chairman Wang Guanru of the UK Headquarters be appointed as the Vice Chairman of the Headquarters. I have obtained the reconsideration of Vice Chairman Zheng Cunzhu and Vice Chairman Tang Yuanjun, and I request the approval of the headquarters committee.

I propose to appoint Mr. Xu Baidi, former Standing Committee member of the Hong Kong Association for Democracy and People’s Livelihood and district councilor of Wong Tai Sin, as an advisor to the headquarters, and entrust him with the organization of the Taiwan presidential election observation mission in 2024. I request the approval of the headquarters meeting.

Both proposals have been approved at the headquarters meeting on June 17, 2023, and are now in effect.

  1. Summary of the work of each party department in the first half of the year.

Under the leadership of Chairman Guanru Wang, the UK Headquarters, with the strong assistance of Advisor Huang Hua, has accomplished a great deal of work since its establishment two years ago. They have held three overseas seminars on the “democratic process in mainland China” with the participation of overseas democracy activists from various countries. They have also organized activities in front of the Chinese Embassy in the UK, protesting against the Chinese government’s suppression of political dissidents. Currently, the Headquarters of the China Democracy Party has become a highly influential organization in the overseas democracy movement in Europe.

Vice Chairman Lan Wei, who resides in Copenhagen, Denmark, has maintained close contacts with Danish parliamentarians, including the former president of the European Union. Vice Chairman Lan Wei has consistently promoted the principles of the China Democracy Party and exposed the atrocities of the Chinese Communist Party’s one-party authoritarian rule. He has had a certain influence on the Danish government and the European Union, making significant contributions to our party. During the commemoration of the 34th anniversary of the June 4th incident this year, a symposium was organized for Chinese Communist Party students in Copenhagen, with the participation of Danish parliamentarians.

Under the leadership of Vice Chairman Jie Lijian, the US West Coast Department has been actively involved in various activities, organizing protests against the Chinese Communist Party’s persecution of Chinese political dissidents, as well as maintaining contacts with overseas democracy activists, Falun Gong practitioners, and representatives from other religious communities in Los Angeles. When President Tsai Ing-wen of Taiwan visited the US West Coast, she also met with Vice Chairman Jie Lijian. The young generation of overseas democracy activists, exemplified by Jie Lijian, has grown up. Our US West Coast Department has become a major force in the overseas democracy movement in the western United States, attracting the attention of various media outlets.

Under the leadership of Chairman Tang Yuanjun, the US East Coast Department has been growing steadily. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic over the past three years, many new immigrants from mainland China who entered New York through illegal channels have joined various democracy organizations, significantly increasing the number of members in the US East Coast Department. Chairman Tang Yuanjun has actively participated in various activities, including holding events in front of the Flushing Library to expose the historical facts of the Chinese Communist Party’s persecution of the people at different times. With their personal experiences, they have raised awareness among the American public about the authoritarian regime of the Chinese Communist Party. In commemoration of the 34th anniversary of the June 4th incident this year, they participated in the opening ceremony and parade at the “June 4th Memorial” in Manhattan on June 2nd, and a large-scale march with hundreds of people in Flushing on June 4th.

Under the leadership of Chairman Qin Xiquan, the New Australia Department organized protest marches and candlelight vigils. The Thai Department, led by Vice Secretary-General and former Southeast Asia Department Chairman Li Xiaolong, together with the current Southeast Asia Department Chairman Nie Baoguo, organized several activities to commemorate the 34th anniversary of the June 4th incident in recent years, making significant contributions to the rescue of political dissidents fleeing mainland China. Under the leadership of Chairman Ye Guozhong, the Netherlands Department, together with other democracy organizations in the Netherlands, held activities to commemorate the 34th anniversary of the June 4th incident.
